What languages does Uni-World operate in?
Services are delivered in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, which covers the majority of our client base across Hong Kong, China and international founders. If your engagement needs a specific language combination, raise it early so the right team members are assigned from the start.
Do you only handle company formation, or also the ongoing compliance afterward?
Both, and most clients use us for both - formation is often the entry point, but the recurring work (company secretary, accounting, tax filing, audit coordination) is where an ongoing relationship typically continues. We are set up for the annual compliance cycle a Hong Kong or China company requires, not just the initial registration.
Can you take over compliance for a company that was formed through a different provider?
Yes, this is a common starting point. We review the company's existing records, registers and filing history, confirm everything is current and correctly filed, and take over ongoing compliance from that point. If there are gaps in the existing filing history, we flag them upfront rather than discovering them at the next deadline.
Do you work directly with the business owner, or only through referral partners?
We work directly with the business owner or their finance lead - not through a reseller or referral layer that adds a communication step between you and the people actually handling your filings. If you were referred by a partner, your engagement is still managed directly by our team.
What happens if I need Hong Kong and China services at the same time?
The same team handles both, rather than handing you off to a separate China-only provider partway through. This matters most when a Hong Kong holding structure needs a Mainland operating entity underneath it - the handover between jurisdictions is where information most commonly gets lost when two separate providers are involved.
